In short: A vampire facial uses your own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with micro-needling. It is a medical procedure that needs a consultation. Suitability, number of sessions and results vary from person to person.
PRP is prepared by taking a small amount of your blood and spinning it so that the platelet-rich portion is separated. This is then applied to the skin during or after micro-needling, or injected in selected areas.
